Add the Song to Your Burning Bridges AI Video
Add it inside the app you post on, not in the video file. That is the difference between a post that plays with the song and one that gets muted. Written October 11, 2026; app menus change, so look for the control by what it does.
Pick where you post
Five taps, per app
TikTok

- 3Search for the song by name and tap it. Drag the waveform to choose which part plays.
- 4Open Volume: keep the added sound high and bring the original sound down to about a quarter.
- 5Tap Next, write one short caption, turn on the AI-generated content label, and post.
Instagram Reels
- 1Tap +, choose Reel, and select the clip.
- 2Tap the music note (Audio) on the edit screen.
- 3Search for the song and choose the section you want.

YouTube Shorts
- 1Tap +, choose Short, and add the clip from your gallery.
- 2Tap “Add sound” at the top of the screen.
- 3Search for the song and pick the part to use.
- 4Open Volume to balance the song against the clip’s own audio.
- 5Tap Next, add a title, mark the video as altered or synthetic content, and upload.
The short version
Why the song is not in the file
Song baked into the upload
The platform matches the audio against its catalogue. The post can be muted or limited in some countries, and you cannot swap the track once it is posted.
Song added in the app
The track is licensed there, your post is listed under that sound next to the other trend videos, and you choose exactly which seconds play.

Where the moment lands in each scene
Each scene has one second the song should hit. These are the times in the samples on this site; your render can land up to a second either side, so check yours before you set the sound.
| Scene | The song builds over | Land the drop at | What happens there |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Scan | Hand over the eyes, searching, until about 0:03 | 0:03 to 0:04 | The hand drops and the face breaks into a laugh |
| The Pour | Shaker by the shoulder until about 0:03 | 0:03 to 0:04 | The shaker tips and glasses reach in from both sides |
| The Entrance | Doors open and the walk in, until about 0:03 | 0:03 | Both hands go to the jacket, then the face fills the frame from 0:05 |
| The Toast | On the stairs, glass coming up, until about 0:02 | 0:02 to 0:03 | The glass is fully up and the room’s glasses rise in front of the lens |
Every clip is exactly 8 seconds, so whatever part of the song you choose, 8 seconds of it will play. Pick the section by its strongest second, then slide it until that second sits on the time in the table.
When it does not work
Five sound problems and what fixes each
| What happens | Why, and what to do |
|---|---|
| The song does not show up in the sound search | Business accounts on TikTok and Instagram only get a commercial music library, and some tracks are not offered in every country. Check the account type first; if that is not it, the trend is recognisable with another sound. |
| The post was muted or the sound was removed later | The song was inside the file you uploaded, or the track was pulled from the library after you posted. You cannot swap the sound on a published post: upload the clip again and add the song from the library. |
| The song lands late after you trimmed the clip | Trim first, then set the sound. Every second you cut from the start moves the moment one second earlier: cut one second off The Scan and the reveal is at about 0:02. |
| The party sounds louder than the song | In three of our four sample clips the clip’s own audio peaks close to full volume. Bring the original sound down to about a quarter and leave the added sound at full. |
| You want the same post on all three apps | Upload the file from this site to each app and add the song inside each one. A video saved back out of one app carries that app’s watermark, and the song is then baked into the file. |

Before you ask
Sound questions
Does a Burning Bridges AI video come with the song?
Not from this site, and it should not from any tool. Our clips carry a party beat and crowd noise with no vocals. The song itself is licensed to TikTok, Instagram and YouTube for use inside their apps, so the safe way to have it on your post is to add it there.
Why was my video muted after I posted it?
Usually because the song was already in the file you uploaded. Platforms scan uploads for copyrighted audio and can mute or limit them. A file with only a beat, plus the song added from the in-app sound library, does not have that problem.
How do I line the song up with the hand-over-the-eyes move?
In the sound picker, drag the waveform so the part you want starts where the move starts. In The Scan from this site the search fills the first three seconds and the reveal lands at about the 3-second mark, so pick a section of the song whose drop or key line comes three seconds in.
Should I turn the clip’s own audio off?
Lower it rather than muting it. A little crowd noise under the song makes the party feel real. Every platform lets you set the original audio and the added sound separately.
Can I use a different song?
Yes. The trend is recognisable from the room and the move, not only the music. Any track from the platform’s library works, and a less-used sound can help a post stand out.
Where should the drop land in the other scenes?
In our sample clips: The Pour at about 3 seconds, when the shaker tips; The Entrance at about 3 seconds, when the hands go to the jacket; The Toast at 2 to 3 seconds, when the glass is fully up. A render can land a second either side, so watch yours once before setting the sound.
Why can’t I find the song on my business account?
Business accounts on TikTok and Instagram are limited to a commercial music library, which leaves out most chart songs. A personal or creator account sees the full library. If you post for a brand, use a track from the commercial library instead of uploading the song inside the file.
